A classic Cuban rum cocktail that combines fresh mint leaves with a burst of lime citrus for cooling summer refreshment.


60ml White Rum
Schweppes Soda Water
6 Mint Leaves
Juice Of Half A Lime (15ml)
1 Tsp Of Caster Sugar
Crushed Ice
Garnish: Mint Sprig


To easily make crushed ice, wrap ice cubes in a tea towel, place on a stable surface and hit with a rolling pin until broken into even shards.
Combine rum, mint, lime juice and caster sugar in a tall glass and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Fill glass with crushed ice and top with Schweppes Soda Water. Stir once more to combine, then garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
